SUMMARY:Hold Back The River: Autumn Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our autumn concert with an eclectic programme featu
 ring works from the early sacred choral classics of Palestrina (Sicut Cerv
 us) and Victoria (O Vos Omnes) through to the contemporary. We are delight
 ed to be performing Someone Else’s Face\, a short piece recently written
  for Romulus Singers by local composer Roger Shelmerdine. Other new repert
 oire includes the ethereal Stardust (Taylor Scott Davis)\, Wanting Memorie
 s (Ysaye Barnwell) and arrangements of the iconic River (Joni Mitchell)\, 
 Hold back the River (Bay and Archer) and Upon Your Heart (Eleanor Daley). 
 We also revisit some old favourites including My hiding Place (Lydia Jane 
 Pugh) and a soothing Traditional Manx Lullaby arrangement by our MD\, Kate
