Being Human: Spring Concert

Sun, 11 May 2025
As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations we held a sell-out cream tea concert at Holy Angels Church Hall in Hale Barns. We were delighted to feature a very special collection of ten songs by Kate Rusby, the widely-celebrated professional folk singer/songwriter from Barnsley, which explored the theme of what it is to be human. Being Human was arranged for choir, piano, violin and flute by our Musical Director, Kate Shipway. Attendees were also treated to some more familiar folk and part songs whilst enjoying their scones with cream and jam!
