Join us for our autumn concert with an eclectic programme featuring works from the early sacred choral classics of Palestrina (Sicut Cervus) and Victoria (O Vos Omnes) through to the contemporary. We are delighted to be performing Someone Else’s Face, a short piece recently written for Romulus Singers by local composer Roger Shelmerdine. Other new repertoire includes the ethereal Stardust (Taylor Scott Davis), Wanting Memories (Ysaye Barnwell) and arrangements of the iconic River (Joni Mitchell), Hold back the River (Bay and Archer) and Upon Your Heart (Eleanor Daley). We also revisit some old favourites including My hiding Place (Lydia Jane Pugh) and a soothing Traditional Manx Lullaby arrangement by our MD, Kate Shipway.
